Subprocessors Identification

  1. Microsoft Corporation (Azure) — Cloud infrastructure, hosting, and database services. Student Data is stored and processed on Microsoft Azure servers located in the United States.
  2. Microsoft Corporation (Azure AI Services) — AI model hosting and inference used to power the grading, feedback, and remediation features of the platform. Student Data processed by AI models remains within the Azure environment and is not used to train any third-party models.
  3. Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — Application error monitoring and observability. Sentry receives limited technical metadata (such as error logs and session identifiers) to support platform reliability and debugging. No personally identifiable information (PII).
  4. Mailchimp / The Rocket Science Group LLC (Mandrill) — Transactional email delivery service used to send automated notifications to teachers (e.g., account activation, password resets, report notifications). Mandrill may process limited contact information (email addresses) necessary for email delivery. No student educational records are transmitted through this service.
  5. Edlink, Inc. (Edlink) — Secure rostering and school data integration services used to connect with district and school information systems (e.g., SIS, LMS, and related educational platforms). Edlink may process limited student, teacher, class, and enrollment data as necessary to enable account provisioning, roster synchronization, and service interoperability. Edlink does not use Student Data for any purpose other than providing and supporting the contracted integration services.
